Terms of Service.
Last updated: April 29, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Billet mobile application and web dashboard (the "Service") operated by Billet Systems LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Billet," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Billet provides a digital delivery ticket management platform that includes mobile applications for delivery drivers, a web-based dashboard for office management, electronic signature capture, GPS tracking, photo documentation, and notification services via SMS, email, and push notifications.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Company administrators are responsible for managing user access within their organization.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful data
- Share your account credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Use the Service to store or transmit content that infringes intellectual property rights
4a. Fair Use — One Account Per Person
Billet is priced per user, not per login. Each person who uses the Service — whether they are a driver in the field, an office employee, or an administrator — must have their own account. Account sharing, credential sharing, or having multiple people take turns signing in and out of a single account is not permitted.
We actively monitor login activity for patterns that suggest account sharing, including (but not limited to): a single account being used from multiple devices in a short time window, repeated logout-and-login cycles from different devices, and active sessions being replaced from different networks. These patterns may trigger an automated warning to the billing contact on your account.
If we detect sustained sharing after a warning, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend the affected account until you add proper users for your team. Reactivation is free and happens as soon as the account is brought into compliance. Unlimited view-only office staff remain free — this policy is aimed at preventing abuse, not at preventing growth.
If a warning or suspension was triggered by legitimate activity (for example, you added a new location, your team is handing off shared equipment, or you are testing the app from multiple devices yourself), please reply to the warning email or contact us at [email protected] — we will review the activity and clear the flag.
5. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of all data you upload or create through the Service, including delivery tickets, customer information, signatures, and photos. We do not claim ownership of your content. We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service as described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Electronic Signatures
The Service facilitates the capture of electronic signatures for proof of delivery. By using the electronic signature feature, you acknowledge that electronic signatures captured through the Service are intended to serve as legally valid records of delivery acceptance. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable electronic signature laws in your jurisdiction.
7. SMS and Notifications
By providing a phone number and enabling SMS features, you consent to receive transactional text messages from Billet Systems LLC in four categories:
- Two-factor authentication login codes — e.g., "Your Billet login code is 482139. This code expires in 5 minutes."
- Driver delivery assignment notifications — e.g., "New delivery assigned: SO-4521 to Acme Plumbing, 1420 Main St. Open the Billet app to view."
- Customer signature request links — e.g., "Acme Distributing delivered your order SO-4521. Please sign here: https://app.billetsystems.com/sign/ABC123. Reply STOP to opt out."
- Password reset codes — e.g., "Your Billet password reset code is 739204. This code expires in 15 minutes."
Billet Systems LLC does not send marketing or promotional SMS. Phone numbers are never sold, rented, or shared for advertising or marketing purposes. No mobile information collected for SMS — including phone numbers — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time.
Typical message frequency per category: 2FA codes — 0 to 5 per day per team member, only on login attempts; password resets — only when user-initiated, typically 0 per day; driver delivery assignments — 0 to 30 per day per driver during active work hours, only if enabled by the employing company; customer signature requests — at most one per completed delivery. Message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier.
You can opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP (a confirmation message will be returned; no further SMS of any category will be sent). For help, reply HELP or contact us at [email protected].
SMS features can be enabled or disabled by your company administrator from Company Settings. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
For the full per-category opt-in mechanics, extended sample messages, and the pre-existing business relationship basis for customer signature-request SMS, see our SMS Notifications policy.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may request export of your data prior to account termination.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting updated terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
